สวัสดีค่ะ น้องๆ
วันนี้เรามาฝึกเขียน IELTS writing task 2 กันนะคะ วันนี้เป็นเรื่องของการมีผู้สูงอายุอยู่ในสังคมจะก่อให้เกิดผลดี ผลเสียอย่างไร ซึ่งนี่ก็น่าจะเป็นข้อสอบที่ทำได้ไม่ยากนักเนื่องจากเป็นเรื่องใกล้ตัวที่ไม่ต้องคิดมากเท่าไร
น้องบางคนอาจรู้สึกว่าการมีผู้สูงวัยอยู่ที่บ้านเป็นเรื่องน่าเบื่อเพราะคุณตาคุณยายขี้บ่น แต่ว่าอันที่จริงท่านเหล่านี้สามารถทำประโยชน์ให้กับสังคมมากมายค่ะ เพราะสำหรับบางท่านแล้ว แม้ว่าจะเกษียณอายุทำงานไปแล้วแต่ว่ามันสมองก็ยังปราดเปรื่องอยู่ดี ดังนั้นหากให้ท่านๆเหล่านี้มาเป็นที่ปรึกษาให้กับเรา มันก็จะเป็นการดีต่อสังคมมากเลย
สำหรับงานเขียนข้างล่างนี้เป็นงานเขียนที่มาจากน้องเต นะคะ เป็นนักเรียนวิชา Academic Writing ของ Trinity School of English ต้องขอขอบคุณที่นำงานมาให้เพื่อนๆได้ดูกันนะคะ : )

The number of elderly people in the world is increasing. What do you think are the positive and negative effects of this trend.
Nowadays, in this world, there are many population because the birth rate have been increasing rapidly and the mortality rate have been decreasing tremendously by the medical technology. Therefore, the number of elderly people in the world is increasing which creates pros and cons to our lives.
In the positive way, some senior people are consultants of a family. Even though they are old, they are still smart. That means they can still help people to think and make decision both personally and professionally. In the big picture, some experienced, retired senior people can be consultants in the company. They will train employees with experience and knowledge. Hence, the perfect consultant will be senior people if compare with other ages because they have high education and a lot of skills.
On the other hand, there might be a generation gap between the golden agers and the younger generation. There is an old saying that old people will turn children again when they are getting older. Hence, this may be annoying for children because they do not understand each other. Moreover, usually senior people cannot help themselves so it will be the problem of the family. Meaning that it will be their son and daughter’s problem to take care of them. To make the problem worse, if the elderly do not have children, the burden will belong to the government. The elderly may be sent to the state nursing home. The government has to spend a lot of money for taking care of them instead of developing the country in any other ways.
To conclude, having a large number of elderly in society is not always troublesome. They are valuable citizen and should not be underestimated. Utilizing their knowledge and experience will bring the country to be fully developed. (298 words)
