มาฝึกเขียน writing task1 กัน
สวัสดีค่ะน้องๆ วันนี้เรามาเตรียมตัวเขียน writing task1 กันบ้างดีกว่า
วันนี้เรามาเขียนแบบสองกราฟอยู่ในข้อเดียวกันกันนะคะ อันบนเป็นกราฟแท่ง อันล่างนี้เป็นกราฟเส้น
ข้อสังเกตของกราฟทั้งสองอันนี้ก็คือ มีข้อมูลที่สัมพันธ์กัน (correlated) เพราะว่าจะเห็นได้ว่าเมื่อนักท่องเที่ยวญี่ปุ่นเดินทางไปต่างประเทศมากขึ้น ส่วนแบ่งของคนญี่ปุ่นที่ไปออสเตรเลียก็มีเยอะขึ้นเช่นกัน ส่ิงที่น่าสนใจคือ ถ้าน้องลองหารเลขดูจะพบว่าตั้งแต่ต้นกราฟถึงปลายกราฟ อัตราส่วนการเจริญเติบโตของทั้งคู่จะอยู่ที่ 3 เท่านะคะ เป็นไงคะ น่าสนใจและน่าเขียน และเป็น implicit data ที่น้อยคนจะเห็นนะคะ

สำหรับวันนี้เราไม่ได้ใช้ศัพท์อะไรแปลกใหม่นะคะ แต่จะเน้นการ group ข้อมูล ให้อ่านง่ายๆ และมีการเปรียบเทียบเป็นสัดส่วนเพื่อให้เห็นภาพรวมของกราฟ
อ้อมีคำหนึ่งที่น้องอาจจะนำไปใช้ได้คือ paraphrase ของคำว่า นักเดินทางท่องเที่ยว นอกจาก travelers ยังใช้ tourist, sightseer, และ visitor ได้อีกด้วยค่ะ
The bar chart shows the number of Japanese travellers going abroad between1985 and1995 and the line graph illustrates the share to Australia during the same period. As an overall trend, it is clear that Japanese tourist and Australia share were having an upward trend. During a decade, both markets have an approximate 3-time growth.
There is an increasing trend along 10 years in Japanese going abroad. The rate started at 5 millions in 1985, increased to 11 millions in 1990 and dropped slightly in the next year by roughly 1%. After 1991, the rate continued to go up rapidly until it reached a peak at about 15 millions in 1995. Like Japanese tourist’s graph, the share of Japanese visitors to Australia was also risen up. Despite an upward trend, the rate starting at 2% in the beginning; however, faced a minimal drop in 1989 from just above 5% to well below 4% before jumping up again to about 6% in 1993-1994.
