ข้อสอบWriting IELTS วันเสาร์ที่ 20 ส.ค. 2011
สวัสดีค่ะ
วันนี้เราลองเอาข้อสอบ Writing IELTS ล่าสุดมาวิเคราะห์และลองเขียนกัน ข้อสอบจริงโดยคร่าวๆถามว่า คุณเห็นด้วยหรือไม่กับการที่ตำรวจพกปืนในการปฎิบัติงาน วันนี้เรามาทำอะไรที่แตกต่างหน่อย ปกติแล้ว เราจะเอา thesis statement ไว้ที่ introduction แต่ไม่จำเป็นที่จะต้องเป็นเช่นนั้นเสมอไปนะคะ ในกรณีนี้เราเลือกที่จะขึ้นต้น introด้วย hook นั่นก็คือสิ่งที่เมื่อผู้อ่าน อ่านแล้วจะรู้สึกตื่นเต้นกับข้อมูลและอยากอ่านต่อ และ เราจะใส่ thesis statement หรือคำตอบของเราไว้ที่ summary แทน
ส่วน summary วันนี้ เราเลือกใช้เป็นวิธีการเขียน suggestion นิดๆนะคะ ซึ่งโดยปกติ เราเขียนแบบ paraphrase thesis แต่วันนี้เบื่อค่ะ ขอเปลี่ยนวิธีมั่ง 
รู้สึกpost นี้ชักยาว เอาแค่นี้ก่อน เดี๋ยวพรุ่งนี้เรามาดูศัพท์น่าสนใจจากการเขียนเรื่องนี้กัน

1. intro: hook – a police was shot dead. how can a policeman protect citizen w/o gun?

3.1 police who don’t have duty to prevent accident (how do we know all police are mature enough?)
4. conclusion: answer depends on role. my opinion = should have gun but can be only fake bullet in less risky duties.
เริ่มเรื่องเลยค่ะ
Just recently, a policeman was shot dead by a maniac in the middle of Bangkok road in one Saturday morning— the time when most families come out to spend their leisure. Not only did the news shock us all how outrageous the crime was, but it also has shaken the morale of ordinary passerby to wonder where they could find safety if even the police officer could not protect himself.
Before a final judgement is made, the purpose of firearm occupancy should be clearly determined. The objective is obvious seen to provide security to the citizen. Then, if the police are responsible to the duty, they must be allowed to hold gunfire; for example, the officer who deals with prisoners or who is in risky circumstances must own a weapon.
On the other hand, police in other departments should not be able to possess arm. Provided that every police has his or her own gun, at the end of the day, how can we be sure every police is mature enough to correctly execute the power. The gun might play a double-edged sword killing innocent people by the lawgiver itself. This leads to the controversial issue of gunfire possessing regulation.
All in all, the indisputable verdict still could not be found. My opinion is that the policeman should literally be able to carry gun for the benefit of the citizen and his own. However, in the less vulnerable situation, the patrolman could carry blank cartridge to avoid the severe injury or death. (253 words)
